Water repellent ripstop nylon tote bag that folds into its own interior pocket. Perfect to keep handy as an extra bag when grocery shopping or thrifting to avoid relying on disposable bags.
Hand-drawn, hand-painted illustration in grease pencil, watercolor, and salt. The design features bold red and white ones to represent the varieties that my family loves to grow each summer. Strawberries are also a favorite snack to spot on hikes together, which reminds me of the Indigenous tribes that used to enjoy these wild fruits on so much more land than they do now. The maker also wanted strawberries to be a reminder of the resilience that Japanese American farmers had in creating a strawberry farming community in what is now Bellevue & north Seattle, back when it was still just uncleared remains of the logging industry, and before their hard work was destroyed during Japanese internment during WWII.
Approximately 20” wide x 26” high and a whopping 5” deep to handle whatever you need to carry! ~4.5” x 5.25” when folded up.
Machine wash, hang or lay flat to dry
