Turn-of-the-Centuries

Seattle, WA Rainbow Watercolor Art Print

$54.00

We're extremely excited to introduce Kirsten of Turn-of-the-Centuries into Station 7. An incredibly talented cartographer, architect, and urban designer, Kirsten is a one-woman studio based in Tacoma, Washington. She uses her education and practice as a way to celebrate the sensory value of places.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

Nearly the entire city - centered on Lake Union and cradled by the Puget Sound and Lake Washington. The map-drawing includes the city, from Gatewood on the southeast and Seward Park on the southeast up to the city line at 145th Street on the north. Seattle appears as an island, centered, with the ferry lines on the west and the edges of Mercer Island and Bellevue on the east.

This is a PRINT. My hand-drawn map lines are turned white over my watercolor wash, a layering of many hand-painted rainbows.

Color may be slightly different on the print than in photos.
