Mary is the warm and welcoming presence you’ll find at Station 7, a thoughtful and unique gift shop in Capitol Hill that reflects her passion for community and connection.
With a BA in Marketing from Seattle University, her journey began in the wedding industry as a Coordinator, sparking a deep love for connecting with people and creating unforgettable experiences. Her love only deepened as she took on roles such as Events Planning Manager at the American Heart Association and working with Microsoft, advancing her skills and creativity in the community and events space.
Taking the leap to own Station 7 has allowed Mary to merge her creativity with her desire to create a space of connection. As a Seattle native, she infuses her love for the PNW into her business, curating a collection of local artists that resonates with the community. And as the proud owner of Station 7, Mary is dedicated to bringing warmth, joy and love to the space that all can enjoy.
Outside of her professional life, Mary is a devoted mom to her son, Bennett, and a wife, finding joy in family life alongside her playful pitbull, Addie.
ABOUT STATION 7
Based in a retired 1920s firehouse, Station 7 is a home and dry goods shop with a focus on local and handmade goods.
We offer a wide variety of goods, including jewelry, books, plants, ceramics, stationery, candles, gift items, personal care products and much more. We're proudly located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Started by Danielle Tilden, then her daughter Lauren Tilden, Station 7 is now proudly operated by Mary Jensen, who has worked for Lauren Tilden for almost 5 years now.
We're proudly an AAPI-owned business ☺️
THE FIREHOUSE & PATIO
Look closely between the original arched carriage doors and you’ll see the original terra cotta plaque in the shape of a shield, which reads SFD (Seattle Fire Department). The firehouse was built in 1920 and remained active until 1970.
The restored patio features reclaimed old-growth fir and steel benches with beautiful steel planters made by Ballard artist David Tuthill Metals. We hope you find it to be a welcoming place to visit, relax, and connect with friends.
